Materials

FU type scraper chain conveyor can convey thousands of materials as powder, granular and patch. Selection and Cautions

Only select the suitable machine can make full use of its performance. So you should pay attention to such following important factors when you make a choice.

i. Chain speed selection

First, the user selects the most suitable speed for conveying raw materials and finished powder based on material’s character and condition(such as：wear-resistance, temperature and size).

ii. Type selection

Second, after the determination of speed, the user can select most suitable type of conveyor. Each conveyor has a basic capacity. So we must point out that under the same capacity , the larger model can reduce the chain speed so that prolong its working life. But capacity should not be too small. If actual quantity is much lower 30% than normal, it will cause idling and increase wear for less material and low internal pressure.

Working Principle

There are internal friction and internal pressure between materials. When conveyor chain and its accessories are working, the movement of the material in the tank is in the same direction as the movement of the conveyor chain, which increases internal friction and internal pressure between materials. As the internal friction is greater than the friction between the material and the wall, material will move forward by the conveyor chain. And the increasing internal pressure ensure the stability of material layer, forming an integral continuous conveying.

Maintenance and Attention

FU type scraper chain conveyor should be cleaned and checked after After using. And inspection should contain:first, if there are any remaining material crush in the tank, it should be cleaned; second, any parts having local, small hidden danger should be promptly excluded,and the chain should be adjusted for it too loose; third, scraper chain cracks has severe wear and tear, it should be replaced; forth, lubricating point should be timely refueling. In addition to repair or replace the damaged parts in time, one should also inspect  the key parts and any parts easy to wear regularly based on safety regulation. All the above practice can ensure the machine in a good performance.
